Description
Venture into the ancient ruins of Petra on this one day tour. Petra was built over 2000 yrs ago by the Nabateans, who carved the whole city out the cliffs. Walk down the Siq (canyon entrance to the city) to the Treasury and see the Roman influences in the amphitheater and colonnade streets and much more.

Petra Tour Highlights
7.00: Pick up from Aqaba hotel for a two hour drive to Petra.
9.00: Arrive at Petra and meet your Petra tour guide on-site.
9.00 - 13.00: Proceed for a guided tour of the city where you'll walk down the Siq to the Treasury - made famous by Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Continue to the Street of Facades - a street lined with tombs and monuments and lastly, climb the 800+ steps to the Al Deir Monastery at the top of the mountain to enjoy the spectacular views from the High Place of Sacrifice.
13.00- 15.00: Explore some of the area on your own.
15.00: Return to Aqaba.
