I was born in Montebelluna (Treviso) on July 31, 1964.

My father owned a small clothing business, and my mother was a skilled operator for the state telephone company.
I currently live in a small town near Treviso.

As a child, I began traveling around the Veneto region and discovering museums and archaeological sites.

My first experience with competitive sport was swimming, from 1975 to 1977.I was then a competitive cyclist from 1978 to 1983.

I became a caver in 1984 and began leading people on hiking trips in 1985.

I have been an Environmental Educator since 1988, a Nature Guide since 2004, a Medium Mountain Guide since 2015, and an International Mountain Leader since 2018.
