I have been a professional licensed travel director for...too many years to declare it! Then, about fifteen years ago, I realized that my place was as worth being visited as many other (more famous) ones, so I got a tourist guide license, and started my personal campaign to help Genoa's reputation, transmitting my enthusiasm to as many people as possible, so...here I am! Now believe me: we can offer much more than Portofino and Cinque Terre: there are dozens of magical unknown medieval villages, breathtaking panoramas on the hills and on the Riviera, hidden art treasurers in secluded little monasteries, an unspoiled environment in the several Natural Parks of the Region, and an unexpectedly beautiful Genova, the capital city of an ancient Maritime Republic, where the commercial activity of the Aristocracy allowed it to live in grand mansions and elegant villas, and to collect precious works of art.And don't forget: the local cuisine is really worth trying, with ist vegetable pies, great seafood, and very special wines!
