I'm a professional hiking & park guide in northern Tuscany since 1995.Born from local families, I've been a child in northern Italy, a teenager in Holland and a university student in Pisa since '84 (biology).Once "back" I discovered a mix of culture, history and traditions in a fantastic natural setting reaching from sandy beaches and coastal cliffs to rocky 6.000 ft mountains within a range of a few miles.I've had 10 years of experience as an educator working in schools and in the social sector with youngsters.With them, but also as an alpinist and a caver member of the Tuscan Mountain Rescue, I've been touring "my" mountains.When I'm not leading groups I produce my own olive oil and I prune trees.I love travelling and have seen some corners of our planet.So I think walking through natural and cultural landscapes, with local stories and some good local food is the best way to get a glimpse of the real spirit of an area.I'm glad I may do so.Be inquiring, be noisy!
