Description
Iceland is the island where the Vikings settled. This island is made from volcano eruptions, shaped by glaciers, raised by Vikings, controlled by elves and consulted by trolls. This island is far away in the North Atlantic, where the weather is never the same. Here, you will experience all four seasons in 1 day, and here, you will learn what hardship is. All the best to see in Iceland is to see on the South Coast tour. Volcanoes, glaciers, trees, waterfalls, trolls, elves, and not to mention Icelanders. We have even made this tour more interesting by adding snowmobiling on top of the Volcano that erupted in 2010, Eyjafjallajökull. Reykjavik Outventure is a small family-owned operator with a huge heart which creates high quality experiences for tourists. We specialise in private tours where the guests get to taste things and visit places they would usually not do except with a local guide. Reykjavik Outventure’s team consists of experienced local guides here to make your days the best possible.
Itinerary
-
Private South Coast tour with Snowmobiling
- Start the tour with a pickup at a time and place of your choice from Reykjavik. After you have been picked up, you will head on this awesome journey!
- Seljalandsfoss waterfall will be the first stop. This is one of Iceland's most beautiful waterfalls. A walking path leads behind it, so you can walk all around it. When the sun breaks through the clouds, you will see a rainbow.
- Mýrdallsjökull Glacier is the next stop. Going snowmobiling on top of the volcano that erupted in 2010 is one of the top experiences of my life! This may not be the biggest glacier in Iceland, but it has the best view of them all.
- Skógafoss waterfalls are waiting for you! You would think, " Can it get any better after this?" Yes, it can. This is, without a doubt, the best waterfall in Iceland—it is number one!
- Black Sand Beach, or Reynisfjara as we call it in Iceland, is the last stop. This beach is truly the beach to visit. It has black basaltic rocks, a troll, big waves from the North Atlantic Ocean, an island, and so much more. It is a must-visit place!
