Description

Explore the Tajrish area to visit the Imamzade Saleh mosque and the bazaar of Tajrish before ascending to the Shirpala shelter. Hike to the Tochal Peak and glide down in a tele-cabin from the mountains. Transfer to Reyneh, reach Goosfand-Sara and go to the third shelter. Finally, hike to the awaited Damavand Peak to enjoy the views from the hill.

    • Arrive in Tehran and transfer to the hotel.

  • Day 2: Tajrish to Shirpala expand_more

    • Take a halfway tour around the Tajrish area to see the famous bazaar of Tajrish and Imamzade Saleh mosque with your Damavand tour guide.

    • Start a journey to ascend to Shirpala shelter at the height of 2750, which takes about 3 hours of hiking.

    Overnight in the shelter.

  • Day 3: Tochal Peak and Reyneh Village expand_more

    • Head towards the Tochal Peak (3960m) with your Damavand tour guide, which takes about 5 hours to reach. 

    • Afterwards, head down the mountain in a tele-cabin.

    • Transfer from Velenjak to Reyneh (3 hours drive). 

    Overnight in a local house.

  • Day 4: Goosfand-Sara to Third Shelter expand_more

    • Transfer to Goosfand-Sara (3000m) by car and hike for 4 to 5 hours to reach the third shelter, located at the height of 4150m.

    Overnight in the shelter.

  • Day 5: Ascend to Damavand Peak expand_more

    • Start the final journey towards the Damavand peak (5609m). It takes about 6 hours to reach the mountain and then 4 hours to return to the shelter.

  • Day 6: Back to Tehran expand_more

    • Descend to Goosfand-Sara, return to Reyneh and then to Tehran.

  • Day 7: Departure expand_more

    • Transfer to Imam Khomeini Airport to end this journey.
