Description

Engage yourself in an adventurous trek expedition to summit Damavand Mountain whose peak always seem to be enveloped in a halo of clouds. Pass through the beautiful Rineh city to reach the Bargah village, from where the trek trail of Mt. Damavand begins. Also, go for a city sightseeing excursion to see Tehran's attractions, such as the Holy Shrine of Imam Zadeh Saleh.

  • Day 1- Arrival in Tehran expand_more
    • Arrive in Tehran, connect with your tour guide, and transfer directly to the hotel.
  • Day 2- Tehran expand_more

    • Go for a halfway tour around the Tajrish area with your Iran tour guide to see the famous bazaar of Tajrish and Imamzade Saleh Mosque there.

    • Start a journey to ascend to Shirpala shelter at the height of 2750, which takes about 3 hours of hiking.

    Spend the night in the shelter.

  • Day 3- Tehran - Velenjak - Reyneh expand_more

    • Early in the morning, head towards the Tochal Peak (3960m), which takes about 5 hours to reach. 

    • Then head to the mountain with Tele-e-cabin.

    • Transfer from Velenjak to Reyneh (3 hours drive) to spend the night in a local house.

  • Day 4- Reyneh - Goosfand-Sara expand_more

    • Early in the morning, transfer to Goosfand-Sara (3000m).

    • Hike for 4 to 5 hours to reach the third shelter, located at the height of 4150m.

    Spend the night in the shelter.

  • Day 5- Goosfand-Sara - Mount Damavand - Goosfand-Sara expand_more

    • Start the final journey towards Damavand Peak (5610m). It takes about 6 hours to reach the peak and 4 hours to return to the shelter.

  • Day 6- Goosfand-Sara - Reyneh - Tehran expand_more

    • Descend to Goosfand-Sara and then return to Reyneh.

    • Drive back to Tehran to rest.

  • Day 7- Departure expand_more

    • Transfer to Imam Khomeini Airport to end this beautiful, challenging journey.
