Day 1: Arrival in Guwahati
- Morning: Arrive at LGBI Airport. Visit the Kamakhya Temple (reach early to avoid long queues).
Afternoon: Visit the Umananda Temple (located on a river island) via a short ferry ride.
Evening: Enjoy a Sunset Cruise on the Brahmaputra River.

Day 2: Guwahati to Kaziranga National Park
- Travel: Drive to Kaziranga (~190 km / 4-5 hours).
Afternoon: Visit the Kaziranga Orchid and Biodiversity Park to see over 500 species of orchids and enjoy local folk dances.
Stay: Kaziranga (Kohora or Bagori range).

Day 3: Wildlife Safari in Kaziranga
- Early Morning: Elephant Safari (Central or Western range) for the best chance to see the One-Horned Rhinoceros up close.

Day 4: Kaziranga to Sivasagar (The Ahom Capital)
- Travel: Drive to Sivasagar (~160 km / 3.5 hours).
Sightseeing:
Rang Ghar: The royal amphitheater.
Talatal Ghar: A multi-storied palace with underground tunnels.
Siva Dol: One of the tallest Shiva temples in India, located on the banks of the Sibsagar Tank.

Day 5: Charaideo Maidams & Move to Tinsukia
- Morning: Drive to Charaideo Maidams (~30 km from Sivasagar). These are the UNESCO World Heritage burial mounds of Ahom royalty, often called the "Pyramids of Assam."
Afternoon: Drive to Tinsukia (~100 km / 2.5 hours).
Stopover: Visit the Tilinga Mandir (Bell Temple) in Bordubi en route.
Stay: Tinsukia or Guijan (near the river).

Day 6: Dibru-Saikhowa National Park & Maguri Beel
- Morning: Take a boat safari at Dibru-Saikhowa National Park. Look for feral horses and the rare Gangetic Dolphins.
Afternoon: Visit Maguri-Motapung Beel, a wetland paradise for birdwatchers.
Optional: If you have time, drive to Digboi (45 mins) to see the World War II Cemetery and the Oil Museum.
