• Reach Haridwar or Rishikesh in the morning. 

• Drive to Govindghat. (8-9 hours)

• Have breakfast/lunch on the way.

• Pass through many popular places, which are famous for its beautiful view as well as religious places like Rishikesh, Devprayag, Srinagar, Dhari Devi, Rudraprayag, Karnaprayag, Chamoli, Joshimath, Vishnuprayag,  along with Alaknanda river and its tributary river. Watch the confluence of rivers-

  • Alaknanda and Bhagirathi in Devprayag.

  • Alaknanda and Mandakini in Rudraprayag.

  • Pinder and Alaknanda in Karnaprayag.

  • Alaknanda and Dhauliganga in Vishnuprayag.

• Enjoy the view of Uttarakhand's villages, town and hills. 

• Reach Govindghat at around 05:30 PM and stay overnight in the hotel/guesthouse.

• Get up early in the morning and have morning tea and breakfast.

• Have lunch on the way.

• Trek along the Pushpawati river and enjoy the view of Hathi Paravat, some waterfalls and villages on the way. 

• Reach Ghangaria around 06:00 PM and stay overnight.

Distance covered: 13 km.

Duration of the trek: 8.5-9 hours.

• Have breakfast and trek to the Valley of flowers. (5-hour trek)

• See flowers on both sides of the route on the way.

• Cross the river there and ascend 1 km ascend. Then take a 1 km straight trek route. The route will pass through the valley of flowers.

• Return via memorial of Joan Margaret Legge who died here when exploring this valley.

• Return to Ghangaria for night halt.

Distance covered: 10 km.

• Wake up early in the morning to catch the morning sunrise view.

• Trek 6 km up and 6 km down.

• Enjoy the majestic view of the valley and snow-capped peaks, waterfalls, flora and fauna on your way.

• Reach Hemkund Sahib Shrine from where the view is very beautiful.

• Visit Hemkund Lake. You can also take a dip into the Lake and visit Gurudwara.

• Return to Ghangaria.

Distance covered: 12 km.

• Get up early in the morning and begin your trek to Govindghat. (4.5 hours walk) 

Stay overnight at Govindghat.

Distance covered: 13 km.

• Depart to Rishikesh/Haridwar along with Alaknanda river, which merges many water streams and rivers in it. (8-9 hours drive)

• Enjoy adventure activities in Rishikesh like whitewater rafting, camping in the jungle, kayaking, bungee jumping, air safari, etc.
