Day 1: Rishikesh - Govindghat expand_more
Drive from Rishikesh to Govindghat (1,828 m) via Joshimath. Govindghat is located in the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand. This place is a base for many treks, including Kuari Pass, Pangarchula Peak and Valley of flowers. (270 km and 7.5-hour drive)
Witness the confluence of rivers Alaknanda and Bhagirathi to form river Ganges on the way.

Day 2: Govindghat - Bhyundar village expand_more
Make your way towards Bhyundar village, which is the starting point of the trek to Kagbhusandi Lake.
Encounter rocky areas, glaciers, shrubs, rivers, etc., on the first day of your trek.
Enjoy the sounds of gushing water of River Alaknanda while you move forward. The trail after Bhyundar village passes through dense bear-infested rhododendron forests. It is here that you will have the first glimpse of Hathi Parvat while moving towards Roopdhungi.
Stay overnight in tents at Roopdhungi.
Distance covered: 10 km.

Day 3: Bhyundar valley - Mmartoli expand_more
Move from Roop Dhungi to Martoli and later to Rajkharak. The entire trail is beautiful and soothing to the eyes. (6 km trek)
Walk on a colourful route with various flowers blooming in full blossom with snow-clad Himalayan peaks in the background.
Pass through Kargil, Martoli, Bankbara and Dang Khark.
Camp at Raj Khark for the day. These are all beautiful campsites for trekkers. A lot of shepherds from the nearby villages use this area as pastureland to graze their livestock.

Trek to Rajkhark. (5 km trek)

Trek to Kagbhushandi and back to Rajkharg. (8 km)
