- Pick up from the hotel at 9:00 am.
- Head towards the Spice Market and discover the secret behind mouthwatering Indian cuisine.
- Proceed to the wholesale fruit market at Machua, filled with fresh fruits as well as local vendors and shoppers.
- Visit Burra Bazaar, meaning "big market" in English. As much of eastern India feeds from this market, it is always busy and full of activity.
- Listen to tales of this ancient market from your guide and shop for textiles, cereals, food grains, spices, dry fruits, edible oils, sugar, salt, and other groceries at very affordable prices.
- Continue to College Street in Kolkata, famed for its books and believed to be Asia's largest book market.
- Take a break and enjoy a cup of coffee at the beautiful Coffee House built during the British Raj.
- Continue to Kumortuli, Kolkata's potters' colony, and witness craftsmen making hundreds of clay idols without using any modern machinery.
- See the idols being moulded into Gods and Goddesses for use in temples during ceremonial rituals.
- Learn from your Indian tour guide about the traditional significance of these clay items.
- Return to the hotel.
