Day 01

Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and Mehtab Bagh Tour

• Meet your tour guide at your hotel in Agra.
• Visit the iconic Taj Mahal, an ivory-white marble building on the southern bank of the Yamuna River in Agra. It was commissioned in 1632 by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan to house the tomb of his favourite wife, Mumtaz Mahal, and it also houses the tomb of Shah Jahan himself. One of the Seven Wonders of the World, it is a magnificent sight to behold.
• Travel to Agra Fort, learn about its history and importance, and visit all areas of the fort.
• Have lunch at a local restaurant.
• Head to a local handicraft market and go shopping.
• Visit Mehtab Bagh on the opposite side of the Taj Mahal, on the other bank of the Yamuna River. It is a photographer's paradise where you can capture one of the best views of the Taj Mahal.
• Enjoy the sunset view from Mehtab Bagh.
• Travel back to your hotel after the tour.
