HUTHEESINH JAIN TEMPLE : This Temple is a Jain temple. It was constructed in 1848 by the Hutheesing family. The temple blends the old Maru-Gurjara temple architecture style with new architectural elements.
SIDDI SAIYAD MOSQUE : This Mosque popularly known locally as Sidi Saiyyid ni Jali, is a Sunni mosque. The mosque was built by Sidi Sayyad, a Habshi nobleman, in 1572/1573 CE. The mosque is entirely arcuate and is known for its ten intricately carved stone latticework windows (Jalis) on the side and rear arches.
BHADRA FORT : 15th-century, 43-acre citadel in the heart of Ahmedabad, India, was built in 1411 by Ahmad Shah I. Known as Aark Fort, this Indo-Saracenic structure served as a royal palace, court, now housing government offices.
BHADRAKALI TEMPLE : The Bhadrakali Temple is one of the oldest temples in Ahmedabad. Ma Bhadrakali is believed to be the guardian deity of the city of Ahmedabad and was also the patron deity of the Solanki dynasty to which King Karnadev- the founder of the city of "Karnavati" (Classical name for Ahmedabad)- belonged to Located on the banks of Sabarmati river, the temple still retains many elements of traditional architecture and is a vibrant centre of devotion, spiritual energy and cultural heritage.
JAMA MOSQUE : Jama Masjid, also spelt Jami Masjid, is a spectacular mosque located near Teen Darwaja. As the Friday Mosque, it is among the busiest in the city, thronging with worshippers on Fridays when thousands congregate for the Namaz. Jama Masjid was built in 1423 and completed by 1424. It was said to be the largest mosque in India at the time and is still among the most beautiful in the country. It enjoys a location at the intersection of main roads with the Bhadra Fort and the Teen Darwaja nearby.
RUDABAI STEPWELL-ADALAJ : Rudabai / Adalaj Stepwells like the one in Adalaj were once integral to the semi-arid regions of Gujarat, as they provided water for drinking, washing, and bathing. It's Beautiful Architect and Engineering Marvels. These wells were also venues for colorful festivals and sacred rituals. The structure is a Monument of National Importance.
AKSHARDHAM TEMPLE : Swaminarayan Akshardham in Gandhinagar is a large Hindu temple complex. The focal point of the complex is the Akshardham Temple, which measures 108 feet high, 131 feet wide and 240 feet long and features 97 carved pillars, 17 domes, 8 balconies, 220 stone beams and 264 sculpted figures. In accordance with Vedic architectural principles, no steel or iron has been used anywhere in the mandir. 20 foot-long stone beams, each weighing five tons, have been used as load-bearing support throughout the mandir. The mandir's central chamber houses a seven-foot-tall, gold-leafed murti, or sacred image, of Swaminarayan, who is worshipped by followers as God.
