Day 01

Arrival in Delhi

  • On arrival at Delhi Airport, meet the company representative.
  • After the meet and greet, transfer to the hotel.
  • Stay overnight in Delhi.

Day 02

Delhi City Tour

  • In the morning, take a sightseeing tour of Delhi. Visit Raj Ghat, the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi, and Shanti Vana, the cremation site of Jawaharlal Nehru, along with Jama Masjid. Drive past the Red Fort and Chandni Chowk.
  • In the afternoon, visit Qutub Minar, built by Qutub-ud-Din Aibek in 1199, Humayun's Tomb, India Gate, the War Memorial Arch, and Lakshmi Narayan Temple, a modern Hindu temple. Also drive past the President's House, Parliament House, Government Secretariat Buildings, and Connaught Place shopping center.
  • Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 03

Delhi to Amritsar and Wagah Border Ceremony

  • After breakfast, leave for Amritsar.
  • In the afternoon, visit the Indo-Pak Wagah Border to watch the Flag Retreat Ceremony. Wagah is an army outpost on the Indo-Pak border, 30 km from Amritsar, where the daily highlight is the evening "Beating the Retreat" ceremony. Soldiers from both countries march in perfect drills, going through the steps of bringing down their respective national flags. As the sun goes down, nationalistic fervor rises and lights are switched on, marking the end of the day amidst thunderous applause.
  • Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 04

Amritsar City Tour and Return to Delhi

  • After breakfast, start your city tour by visiting the Golden Temple, the most important Sikh shrine, also called the Mecca for the Sikhs. It is a living symbol of the spiritual and historical traditions of the Sikhs. Then visit Jallianwala Bagh, where on April 13, 1919, British and Gurkha soldiers opened fire on an unarmed forbidden gathering, killing hundreds of civilians. After lunch, visit Maharaja Ranjit Singh Summer Palace Museum, the summer palace of Maharaja Ranjit Singh, situated in the heart of Ram Bagh, Amritsar.
  • Later in the afternoon, transfer to the railway station to board the train for Delhi. Upon arrival, meet the representative and transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 05

Delhi to Jaipur

  • After breakfast, drive to Jaipur and check into the hotel. The representative will assist you with the check-in process.
  • The evening is free for shopping around the local market. Jaipur is also known as the Pink City. It is the capital of Rajasthan, famous for its majestic forts, opulent havelis, beautiful lakes, and sand dunes. The history of Jaipur takes us about 300 years back in time, when the Mughal Empire in India was in decline.
  • Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 06

Jaipur Sightseeing

  • In the morning, visit Amber Fort. Amber Fort was the capital of this state a long time ago. Visit the Sheesh Mahal, or the Hall of Victory, glittering with mirrors. Ascend the fort in an open jeep.
  • In the afternoon, take a sightseeing tour of Jaipur. Jaipur is the capital of Rajasthan. It was painted pink a century ago in honor of a visiting Prince, and ever since, Jaipur has retained this pink color. Built by Maharaja Jai Singh, a notable astronomer, this city is 260 years old. While in Jaipur, visit Maharaja's City Palace, the Observatory, and Ram Niwas Gardens.
  • Drive past the Hawa Mahal.
  • Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 07

Jaipur to Agra via Fatehpur Sikri

  • After breakfast, drive to Agra. En route, visit Fatehpur Sikri. Fatehpur Sikri was built between 1571 and 1585 and is one of the finest examples of Mughal architecture. Though the city is now in ruins, it is a must-visit place for all those who travel to Agra. Fatehpur Sikri is a place where one should spend some quality time, and the sunset over the ruins is a sight to cherish.
  • Arrive in Agra and check into the hotel. The representative will assist you with the check-in process. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 08

Agra Sightseeing and Drive to Delhi

  • In the morning, visit the famous Taj Mahal, built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. This monument is made of white marble, and it took 22 years to be completed.
  • Then visit Agra Fort. Built originally as a military establishment by Akbar in 1565, this red sandstone building was partially converted into a palace during the time of Shah Jahan. In the afternoon, visit Itmad-ud-Daulah. This tomb belongs to the father of Nur Jahan, Ghias-ud-Din Beg, who was the Wajir, or Chief Minister, of Emperor Jehangir. This white marble tomb was built by Nur Jahan between 1622 and 1628.
  • Drive back to Delhi and check in at the hotel. Overnight in Delhi.

Departure from Delhi

  • Transfer to the airport for your flight to your onward destination.
