Itinerary

   • Have lunch and prepare for the afternoon excursion.

   • Embark on a guided jeep safari or boat safari through the Satkosia Tiger Reserve.

   • Explore the breathtaking Mahanadi River gorge and its surrounding landscapes.

   • Spot diverse wildlife including Royal Bengal tigers, Indian gaurs (bison), elephants, sloth bears, sambar deer, and a wide range of bird species.

   • Capture photographs of the scenic hills, dense forests, and riverine ecosystem.

   • Return to your accommodation by early evening.

   • Enjoy an optional nature walk around the resort or gather around a campfire under the stars.

   Have dinner and rest for the night.

2. Day 2: Bird Watching and Local Exploration

   • Wake up early for a bird watching tour or a short forest trek within the sanctuary.

   • Visit Baisipalli Wildlife Sanctuary, located within the Satkosia region, known for its tranquil forests and rich avifauna.

   • Return for breakfast at the resort.

   • Depart for nearby sightseeing such as Ankleshwar Temple, an ancient shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva near Angul.

   • Alternatively, visit the Talcher Coalfields region to explore local village life and gain cultural insights.

   • Have lunch at a local restaurant or packed meal depending on the travel schedule.

   • Depart for Angul, Bhubaneswar, or your onward destination.
