Itinerary

1. Day 1 – Arrival in Agartala and Trek to Rajnagar Hills

   • Arrive in Agartala by flight or train in the morning.

   • Drive for approximately 1.5 to 2 hours to reach Rajnagar village, located at the base of the hills.

   • Meet your local guide and receive a briefing on the flora, fauna, and tribal culture of the region.

   • Begin the trek through mixed forests of sal, bamboo, and deciduous trees.

   • Observe birdlife such as hornbills and barbets, and look out for reptiles and small mammals.

   • Visit tribal hamlets of the Reang and Tripuri communities along the trail.

   • Enjoy a packed picnic lunch in the forest or a local village.

   • Reach a scenic hilltop campsite or eco-hut by late afternoon.

   • Take a short nature walk near the camp to listen to bird calls and view the sunset.

   • Dine on a traditional tribal meal prepared by local hosts.

   • Spend the night in an eco-hut or at the campsite near the Rajnagar Hills.

2. Day 2 – Wildlife Trek and Return to Agartala

   • Embark on an early morning guided wildlife trek focused on birdwatching and animal sightings.

   • Look for barking deer, wild boar, and monkeys in their natural habitat.

   • Return to camp for a traditional breakfast.

   • Trek back to Rajnagar village by late morning.

   • Drive back to Agartala for departure or onward travel arrangements.
