Delhi to Agra for Taj Mahal Sunrise, Agra Fort and Mehtab Bagh
03:00 AM: Pickup from your location (airport/hotel) by a driver in an AC car. Drive to Agra via the Yamuna Expressway for almost 3 hours.
Meet your tour guide on arrival and head directly to the Taj Mahal for your sunrise tour. The Taj Mahal is one of the Seven Wonders of the World and is also famous as the Temple of Love. It was built by the 5th Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal, in the 17th century. Please note that the Taj Mahal is closed every Friday.
Stop for a local breakfast after visiting the Taj Mahal.
Travel to one of the most beautiful and well-preserved forts in India - Agra Fort. This fort was built by the 3rd Mughal Emperor Akbar in the 16th century.
Lunch in Agra will be at a local restaurant.
End this beautiful tour with a sunset view at Mehtab Bagh, or the Moonlight Garden. It is one of the 11 gardens that were laid out in the 16th century. Situated on the bank of the River Yamuna, this is the perfect spot for a beautiful view of the Taj Mahal across the other side of the river.
Drive back to Delhi.
