I have stepped into tourism and hospitality in 1986, starting my carrier in The Oberoi, later switched to the tourism field.In this long 28 years, I have met a lot of tourists from different parts of the world and especially Soviet Groups before the country got disintegrated.I like to meet different people, especially English-speaking as I know only English except for my mother tongue Bengali and Hindi, the national language of India.I prefer to do the tour which is not always museum and monuments oriented or rather popular spots oriented but like to see or show the people the life and as much as possible during their stay.I do not like always to speak about the common statistics because during the age of the internet everybody can make themselves knowledgeable, but something different, though I believe that Kolkata cannot be completed without the colonial period and the then Babu Culture.My personal interest is to enjoy the stage performance stage acting, listening to vocal music, not classical but to tune with Tagore Song  and also to read the books which are almost losing their glory due to kindle.Also, I like to spend time in a serene place with friends of the same vives if possible, otherwise as a lone traveller.
