Itinerary

1. Day 1: Varanasi to Bodhgaya – Arrival and Spiritual Exploration (260 km / Approximately 6 Hours)

   • Begin the journey with a pickup from your preferred location in Varanasi.

   • Drive through the scenic countryside toward Bodhgaya.

   • Arrive in Bodhgaya and commence spiritual exploration at the Mahabodhi Temple Complex, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

   • Visit the main Mahabodhi Temple and walk beneath the sacred Bodhi Tree, where Lord Buddha attained enlightenment.

   • Explore various meditation halls, sacred shrines, and tranquil gardens within the complex.

   • Continue with visits to notable international monasteries including the Tibetan Monastery, Japanese Temple, Burmese Vihara, and Chinese Temple, each offering unique cultural and spiritual insights.

   • Return to the Mahabodhi Temple in the evening to witness the enchanting prayer ceremony.

   • Absorb the peaceful and spiritually charged atmosphere of this sacred site.

   • Proceed to your hotel in Bodhgaya for an overnight stay.

2. Day 2: Local Sightseeing in Bodhgaya and Return to Varanasi / Optional Drop in Bodhgaya

   • Proceed to the Vishnupad Temple, an important Hindu pilgrimage site located beside the Falgu River.

   • Explore Anirudh Vihar to witness the magnificent 80-foot-long reclining Buddha statue, a powerful symbol of peace and spiritual contemplation.

   • Drive back to Varanasi in the evening.

   • Drop off at your hotel, airport, or railway station in Varanasi, as per your convenience.
