Delhi to Agra Sunrise Tour and Return
03:00 AM: Pick up from your location (airport/hotel) by the driver in an AC car and drive to Agra via the Yamuna Expressway for almost 3 hours.
Meet the tour guide and visit the Taj Mahal directly for your sunrise tour. The Taj Mahal is one of the Seven Wonders of the World, and it is also famous as the Temple of Love. It was built by the 5th Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal in the 17th century. The Taj Mahal is closed every Friday.
Stop for breakfast at a local restaurant.
Head over to Agra Fort, built by the 3rd Mughal Emperor Akbar in the 16th century.
Arrive at Mehtab Bagh, or the Moonlight Garden, one of the 11 gardens laid down in the 16th century. Situated on the bank of the River Yamuna, this is the perfect spot for a beautiful view of the Taj Mahal across the other side of the river.
See some local arts of the town besides these monuments. Agra is also famous for its Marble Inlay Work, Mughal hand-knotted carpets, and Zardozi with semi-precious stones.
Stop for lunch in Agra at a local restaurant.
Drive back to Delhi.
