   5 Days Mount Rinjani Trekking – Sembalun to Torean Route

This 5 Days 4 Nights Rinjani trekking tour offers a complete journey through dramatic landscapes, starting from the beautiful savanna of Sembalun and finishing through the breathtaking valley of Torean.

   Perfect for adventure seekers and nature lovers, this route combines the most iconic highlights of Rinjani including the summit at 3,726 meters, the stunning crater lake Segara Anak Lake, relaxing natural hot springs, and one of the most scenic descent trails on the mountain.

   This longer trekking itinerary allows travelers to explore Rinjani at a comfortable pace while enjoying incredible views, unique volcanic landscapes, and unforgettable camping experiences under the stars.

   Day 1 – Arrival Lombok & Transfer to Sembalun

   Your adventure begins upon arrival in Lombok. Our team will pick you up from the airport, hotel, or harbor and transfer you to the beautiful mountain village of Sembalun.

   Located on the eastern side of Mount Rinjani, Sembalun is surrounded by scenic farmland and towering mountain views. In the evening, meet your trekking guide for a detailed briefing about the trek and prepare your equipment for the adventure ahead.

   Day 2 – Trek Sembalun Village to Sembalun Crater Rim

   After breakfast, start your trek from the Rinjani National Park entrance in Sembalun. The trail begins with a gentle walk across wide savanna grasslands offering spectacular views of Mount Rinjani.

   Along the route you will stop at several rest points including Pos 1, Pos 2, and Pos 3 before continuing the challenging climb to the crater rim.

   Upon arrival at Sembalun Crater Rim, you will enjoy breathtaking views of the entire crater lake and volcanic landscape below.

   Trekking time: 6–7 hours
   Overnight: Camping at Sembalun Crater Rim

   Day 3 – Summit Rinjani & Descend to Segara Anak Lake

   Wake up early around 2:00 AM to begin the summit ascent. The climb to the top of Mount Rinjani is challenging but extremely rewarding.

   At sunrise, you will reach the summit (3,726 meters) where you can enjoy spectacular panoramic views across Lombok Island, the neighboring island of Bali, and the surrounding ocean.

   After returning to camp for breakfast, the trek continues down the steep trail into the crater to reach the stunning Segara Anak Lake.

   Trekking time: 7–8 hours
   Overnight: Camping near Segara Anak Lake

   Day 4 – Hot Springs & Explore Segara Anak

   Today is a more relaxed day where you can fully enjoy the beauty of Segara Anak Lake. After breakfast, visit the nearby natural hot springs where warm volcanic water flows into natural pools—perfect for relaxing tired muscles after the summit climb.

   Spend the rest of the day exploring the lake area, fishing, taking photos, or simply enjoying the peaceful atmosphere of the crater.

   Day 5 – Trekking Out via Torean Route

   After breakfast, begin the final trek down through the spectacular Torean route, one of the most scenic trails on Mount Rinjani.

   This trail offers incredible views of waterfalls, rivers, dramatic cliffs, and lush tropical forests. Often called the “Jurassic Park trail of Rinjani,” the Torean route provides a completely different landscape compared to the Sembalun route.

   After reaching Torean village, our team will transfer you back to your hotel or the airport.
