Budapest Sightseeing
Meet your Budapest tour guide at Deák Square or get picked up from your hotel if you're in the city centre and begin the tour.
Discover the Jewish 7th district. Learn about the history of the Jewish District, know the past and present of the Jewish Community. Get acquainted with the history and development of Hungarian neologism and interesting stories from that time.
Walk along Király street, the former main street, where you can visit the Gozsdu Udvar (Courtyard) with its restaurants, pubs and flea markets.
Visit the memorial of the former ghetto wall inside a house garden, the Pekary House with symbols of David stars.
Explore the market hall, where you can taste/buy Hungarian food.
Marvel at the Kazinczy Synagogue and witness the only working Mikve.
Proceed to the largest synagogue of Europe in Dohány street. Your guide has been permitted by the Hungarian Jewish Community to guide you inside the building.
Move to the ''Heroes’ Temple'', the monument commemorating the victims of WW2, the Martyrs' Cemetery, the Raoul Wallenberg Memorial Park, the Tree of Life, the "Righteous Among the Nations" Memorial and the Hungarian Jewish Museum.
Continue to see the synagogue in Rumbach street from outside, as it is under reconstruction.
Learn about how people survived in the time of the holocaust as you visit the Carl Lutz Memorial.
