Discover Zadar Countryside!
Learn about the history of salt production in the area and visit the smallest world`s cathedral. Meet the family of local olive oli and wine producers, taste their products and spend time feeding donkeys on a donkey farm in the area.
This tour takes you to the green Zadar countryside, away from the crowds of the city where locals still live by following the tradition of their ancestors.
On the tour we will visit a donkey farm and get to know the autochthonous breed of donkeys called the Dinaric-Littorals. After petting and feeding the donkeys the tour proceeds with a bit of history and sightseeing as it takes you to a small, picturesque town of Nin, former Roman collony and a credle of the Croatian Medieval Kingdom. In the vicinity stands a saltworks of a very long traditon where we will hear the story about the production of the organic salt from the Adriatic Sea and the impact of the saltworks to the lifes of the local people. Last stop on the tour will be a coastal village where we will meet a family of the olive oil and wine produces from the area. Our host will give us a short tutorial about the recognition of the positive carachteristics of the olive oil. We will finish our tour in a best possible way with a platter of cheeses and prosciutto followed by some local white and red wine.

Donkey Farm
- Get to know the indigenous bread of donkeys, typical for the area.
- On a family-run rural estate lives about fifty of these charming creatures. Feed them, pet them and learn how the life on a farm looks like in Zadar countryside.

Nin Old Town
- Walk around the narrow streets of the tiny historic town of Nin. Hear the interesting stories from its long history and discover its noumerous sights.
- The town was established as a settlement of the Liburnia Tribe, first know people who lived on this area 900 years BC. Once it was a part of the big and mighty Roman Empire and in the Earyl Middle Ages here was born the Croatian Kingdom. Today, Nin is an evitable destination for all the romantic souls and naturelovers.

Nin Saltworks
- Visit the Salworks of Nin, the only place on the Croatian Adriatic where the salt is beeing produces organiclly with a little bit of help from the strong summer sun and cold north-eastern wind.
- This salt is ecological, therapeutic and biodynamic because in its production, besides people, participates diverse wildlife and healing mud.
- Learn about the proces of the salt production, visit the Museum of Salt and treat youself with one of the products from Saltworks Souveneer and Deli Shop.

Estate of the Dusevic Family
- Learn how to recognize good quality olive oil with few tricks our lovely host will teach you upon the arrival to his estate.
- Taste three different kinds of olive oil that is beeing produced by our host`s family and enjoy the local tapas - cheeses from the nearby island of Pag and worlwide famous Dalmatian prosciutto followed by the glass of the local white and red wine.
