Hello dear friend
First of all I would like to welcome you to Greece and wish you to have a nice stay and to create wonderful memories of this wonderful country that I represent and I have been guiding since 1987.
My license is for the whole country which I have guided thouroughly since the beginning of my career from the Acropolis of Athens to Epidaurus, Mycene, Delphi, Salonica, Meteora to Crete, Santorini, Delos ect.
Recently I have decided to focus guiding in Ancient Corinth which I consider a fascinating historical and archaeological site and which has so many aspects and themes to reveal to the visitor.
From it's astonishing mythology related with reknown ancient gods, goddesses and heros such as Apollo, Dionysus, Asklepios, Aphrodite to Sysiphus it's founder, Periander the ruler who upgraded the ancient city-state of Corinth to becoming a great economical center and power, to Philip of Macedon and Julius Ceasar establishing it as an important Roman Colony and a Cosmopolis.
Ancient Corinth multifacet, srategical as a geographical point, where the latter has been the fondamental reason for its' wealth and power from the one side but also the reason for its' historical misfortunes from the other side, secular and spiritual as well, Ancient Corinth can make the visitor travel through the various historical eras regarding its history and with it's encounter through St.Paul the Apostole with the Christian spirituality.
Throughout the years that I have been guiding people, coming from many countries from all over the world, and through continuous lifelong studies , I love sharing with the people knowledge that will reveal to them and make them become aquainted first of all with the philosophy of the Greek language, demystifying the ancient Greek theourgy and spirituality, the historical process of this very unique ancient city and last but not least the Christian Spirituality as was established by the ministry of St.Paul as we get to know from the Acts of the Apostols and from his letters later on.
Trying to trace his steps from the Bema where he was trialed by Galio and to reveal the spiritual legacy that he left to all nations of the world.
Having studied Christian Orthodox Theology for the people who would like to have a more detailed approach regarding St.Paul and his ministry in Ancient Corinth-no matter what denomination- and for the ones in search as well of his relation with the Ancient Greek World.
From god Apollo and the Apollonian light - to St.Paul Ancient Corinth has a wealth of fascinating elements to encounter.
The guiding time lasts approximately 2 hours and it includes visiting the Archaeolgical Museum and the Archeological site.
