If you are interested in Cretan cuisine, we cook, taste, and share with you the magic of traditional Cretan dishes! Seasonal greens, herbs, fruits, wild greens, fresh milk, fresh meat, and, of course, the golden olive oil from the Cretan land are our staples. With these ingredients, we prepare dishes that have been cherished by our grandmothers and are part of the Cretans' daily diet. We aim to give our friends in Crete a true experience of our life and authentic traditional food, far from the tourist attractions. During the lesson, we will provide you with useful information regarding the Cretan diet. At the end of the lessons, we will have a gastronomic feast where you will enjoy all the dishes we have prepared together.

3-Hour Cretan Traditional Cooking Experience
Location: A traditional village near Rethymno
Hour 1: Welcome and Introduction to Cretan Life (00:00–01:00)
Welcome guests at a traditional Cretan home in a small village close to Rethymno.
Introduce the philosophy of Cretan cuisine as a way of life rooted in simplicity, imagination, and respect for nature.
Walk through the garden to observe organic vegetables, fruits, herbs, and wild greens grown for daily household use.
Present the core ingredients of the Cretan diet, including seasonal greens, fresh milk, local meat, herbs, and extra virgin olive oil produced from family-owned land.
Explain the fundamentals of the Cretan diet and its connection to health, seasonality, and daily life.
Hour 2: Hands-On Cooking Lesson (01:00–02:00)
Begin the hands-on cooking lesson using traditional family recipes passed down from grandmothers.
Prepare authentic Cretan dishes using seasonal and locally sourced ingredients.
Learn traditional cooking techniques and the cultural stories behind each dish.
