Description
Embark on this thrilling day excursion to Senegal and cross the Gambia-Senegal southern border. Drive past several traditional villages to reach the Toubacouta market. Cruise via motorboat on river and go to Bird Island and Shell Island. Go for a safari in Fathala Reserve Park to spot wildlife such as zebras, giraffes, rhinos, antelopes and pigs, along with a wide variety of birdlife.
Itinerary

Day 1- Banjul - Senegal
- The guide will pick you up from your hotel early in the morning at 6:30 am and drive to banjul to hop on the local ferry cross to barra.
 - Upon arrival at the north bank, we have our first stop at a local market before crossing the border into Senegal.
 - On our arrival in Senegal, you will be checked into your hotel.
 - Afterwards, you will have the choice to relax and take in the beautiful scenery or visit the town of toubacouta local market.
 - Later, you will set off on a sunset cruise to shell island and bird island to watch the birds going to roost.
 
Dinner is at saloum delta, a beautiful location.

Day 2- Senegal - Banjul
- After breakfast, you will set off to head to the famous Fathala Reserve Park
 - Upon arrival in Fathala, we will go on an African safari in search of animals.
 - After the safari, we will have lunch and transfer back to Barra to catch up on the ferry to Banjul.
 - Arrive at your hotel by 4 pm to end the tour.
