Itinerary

1. Day 1- Kaolack

   • Get an early morning pick-up service from your hotel by your tour guide and start the tour.
   • Visit Kaolack central market and check in at Keur Saloum lodge hotel.
   • Explore the country's beautiful market of kaolack central and see Africa with its colours and uniqueness.
   • Stroll through the market's narrow alleys to see the amulets makers, shoemakers' workshops, and many local products typical of Africa. 
   • Take a boat ride on the saloum river and enjoy the sublime beauty of this classified world heritage site.
   • Pass through the vast mangroves where you can see some oysters. If you are a bird lover, take quality photos of birds as you can.
   • Head to shells island, where you will have a panoramic view of the area to complete the tour.
   • Go to the bird's islets, where you will wait for the birds to come back for a quiet night and witness the scene of unbelievable beauty as they come in large numbers to land on their islets. 
   • Enjoy dinner and overnight stay at Keur Saloum lodge hotel with a sublime view of the Saloum River and the mangroves. 

2. Day 2- Fathala Wildlife Reserve

   • Today, head to Fathala Wildlife Reserve for a walk with lions.
   • Enjoy your day full of delight and sensation and start after a briefing by the ranger.
   • Encounter lions- the kings of the African jungle wandering through their natural habitat. Get the chance to walk along side them.
   • At the end of the day, drive back to your accommodation and your tour comes to an end.
