Description

Mountaineering tour
Visit Ananuri, a fortress of the 17th century, an ensemble of buildings including a tower, a small-domed temple, a large temple and bell-tower domes.
Enjoy a picturesque view of the artificial reservoir Zhinvali, which was built in 1971.
Head to Hevi, a small area in the northeast of Georgia, which is located in the modern Kazbegi district and includes the gorges of the three rivers Truso, Terek and Snotskali.
Arrive at Akhtoti, a native village of Ilia II, Patriarch of Georgia. In the courtyard of the Patriarch's House, there is a newly built temple.
Continue to the Museum of Alexander Kazbegi (a famous Georgian writer).
Stop at The Holy Trinity Church, which is built on the slope of Mkinvartsveri Mountain (the top of the glacier) in the 14th century in Gergeti, on the left bank of the Terek River. This religious monument - a dome church with a bell tower is considered the highest place in Europe.
