I moved to Norfolk from Newcastle upon Tyne in 1988 to work for the NationalTrust in East Anglia as Marketing and Communications Manager (I hadbeen working for them in the same role from 1983 in the NorthumbriaRegion). Then in 1999 I went freelance doing PR work mainly for Norfolk tourism businesses.
I have always wanted to be a tour guide and seven years ago did the course run by Norwich City Council and VisitNorwich.I do tours for the Tourist Information Centre, but have also developed my own business, with a range of tours in Norwich and the Norfolk Broads. My most popular tour has been Shardlake's Norwich, celebrating CJ Sansom's novel Tombland and looking at Norwich at the time of Kett's Rebellion (1549).
