Reach the top of the Great Rift Valley to experience the awesome wilderness of East Africa. You can click candid pictures here and hike to the crater area of Mt. Longonot; a stratovolcano located southeast of Lake Naivasha in the Great Rift Valley.

  • Nairobi - Mt. Longonot expand_more

    • 07:30 am: Pick-up from the hotel.

    • 09:00 am: Make a stopover at the Great Rift valley viewpoint for taking photos.

    • 10:00 am: Arrive at Mt Longonot and begin the hike to the crater. (3 hours up and 1 hour down)

    • 01:00 pm: Enjoy your picnic lunch.

    • 02:00 pm: Descend the crater.

    • 04:00 pm: Arrive in Nairobi.
