6-Day Kenya Safari to Amboseli, Lake Nakuru and Masai Mara

• Pick up from your Nairobi hotel or the airport early in the morning by your Kenyan safari guide.

• Depart Nairobi for Amboseli National Park, a drive of less than 5 hours to Amboseli, which lies at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro.

• Arrive with a short game drive, then proceed to your lodge for check-in.

• Have lunch at the lodge.

• Go for more game drives around the park. Mount Kilimanjaro offers a scenic backdrop for photography of elephants, lions, and cheetahs. Buffaloes can be seen in the swamp area.

Have dinner followed by an overnight stay at Amboseli Serena Lodge or AA Lodge Amboseli.

• Wake up early in the morning and go for a game drive.

• Return to the lodge for breakfast.

• After breakfast, spend the full day in the park with a packed lunch in search of its popular residents, such as zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, and hippos, with a gorgeous backdrop view of Mount Kilimanjaro.

• Return to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay at Amboseli Serena Lodge or AA Lodge Amboseli.

• Have an early breakfast before departing for Lake Nakuru National Park with your Africa tour guide.

• Have lunch en route in Nairobi.

• Proceed to Lake Nakuru for an evening game drive. Besides the flamingos that Lake Nakuru is famous for, there are approximately 400 other species of birds found there. In addition, a large variety of game can be found in the park, including the Rothschild's giraffe, black and white rhino, waterbuck, reedbuck, lion, buffalo, leopard, baboon, and many species of plains game.

Dinner and overnight stay at Lake Nakuru Lodge or Flamingo Hills Camp.

• Have a nice breakfast at your lodge and depart overland to the Masai Mara Game Reserve, the jewel of Kenya's game parks. This enormous reserve is part of the vast Serengeti plains, famously known for its spectacular great wildebeest migration. It is a true home of the 'Big Five' - lion, elephant, leopard, rhino, and cape buffalo.

• Have lunch at the reserve lodge and explore the reserve on a late evening 'Spice' game drive.

Dinner and overnight stay at Mara Sopa Lodge or Sentrim Mara Camp.

• Explore the reserve throughout the day. The Masai Mara has one of the greatest concentrations of wild species in the world. Morning and afternoon 'Spice' game drives are planned. Large mammals are varied, abundant, and easy to spot here. Residents among the park's mammals include the Masai giraffe, buffalo, impala, zebra, topi, and both Thomson's and Grant's gazelles.

• Go for an optional hot-air balloon ride at an additional cost around the reserve.

• Visit an authentic Masai village and explore their culture and traditions up close.

Dinner and overnight stay at Mara Sopa Lodge or Sentrim Mara Camp.

• Begin today with an early morning 'Spice' game drive followed by a complete English breakfast at your lodge.

• Depart for Nairobi on a mid-morning drive.

• Stop for lunch at the Carnivore Restaurant.

• Transfer to the airport or to your Nairobi hotel.
