5-Day Tsavo and Amboseli Private Safari with Mzima Springs

Pick up from your Nairobi hotel or airport in the morning and drive to Tsavo West National Park, a journey of less than 6 hours. You will arrive with a short game drive en route to Kilanguni Serena Safari Lodge, where you will check in and have lunch.

In the afternoon, head out for a game drive. Tsavo West offers some of the most magnificent game viewing in the world, and its attractions include elephants, rhinos, hippos, lions, cheetahs, leopards, buffaloes, as well as diverse plant and bird species. Later, enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at the safari lodge.

Enjoy an early morning breakfast, then check out and continue with a game drive, including a visit to Mzima Springs, where you can see hippos and fish in crystalline clear water. There are also possibilities of seeing crocodiles and monkeys. The sight of fifty million gallons of crystal-clear water gushing out from under the parched lava rock at Mzima Springs is remarkable. You will also visit the Shetani lava flows.

Afterward, depart Tsavo West for Tsavo East, with a drive of about 3 hours to the main gate. Tsavo East is renowned for its large numbers of elephants and the famous man-eating lions. You will arrive in Tsavo East with a game drive en route, proceeding to your lodge for lunch and check-in at Ashnil Aruba Lodge. Later in the afternoon, enjoy another game drive in the park with a visit to Aruba Dam. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Ashnil Aruba Lodge.

After an early morning breakfast, check out and enjoy a game drive en route as you leave Tsavo East for Amboseli National Park, a drive of less than 5 hours. You will arrive in Amboseli with a short game drive in time for lunch, then check in at Ol Tukai Lodge, have lunch, and rest.

In the afternoon, continue with more game viewing in Amboseli Park, which lies at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro. Mount Kilimanjaro offers a scenic background for photography. Elephants, lions, cheetahs, buffaloes, and more can be seen in the swamp area and across the open plains. Later, enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at the lodge.

Set out for an early morning game drive, then return to camp for breakfast. After breakfast, proceed with more game drives in the park with a packed lunch, in search of its popular residents, including the well-known predators and their opponents such as zebra, wildebeest, giraffe, and hippo, all with views of Mount Kilimanjaro.

Later, return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay at the lodge.

Enjoy early morning game viewing, then return to the lodge for a full breakfast before driving back to Nairobi. You may either be dropped at Emali to catch the bus to Mombasa or continue to Nairobi, where you will be dropped off either at the airport or at your Nairobi hotel or residence.
