Day 1 - Nairobi to Maasai Mara National Reserve expand_more
Meet your African driver/guide at your Nairobi hotel at 7 am for a trip briefing before heading to the Maasai Mara. Along the way, drive through the striking western walls of the Great Rift Valley. Arrive in time for lunch.
Have your first Mara experience, which will take place with an afternoon game drive through this special place.

Day 2 - A Day In Mara expand_more
A full day of game viewing awaits in the stunning Maasai Mara grasslands, providing a uniquely African panorama to compliment the many photographs you’ll no doubt be taking of animal encounters.
Enjoy a picnic lunch at a hippo pool in the bush, and afterwards, pick from the option of continuing with your safari or visiting a traditional Maasai village.

Day 3 - Maasai Mara to Lake Naivasha expand_more
After breakfast, depart for lovely Lake Naivasha, a freshwater lake brimming with flamingos, hippos and hundreds of other bird species.
Stop for lunch on the way, and that afternoon, there are plenty of ways you can enjoy the lake from a boat trip to see the hippos up close, cycling, fishing or bird watching.

Day 4 - Lake Naivasha to Lake Nakuru National Park expand_more
Shortly after breakfast, depart for Nakuru National Park, a Rift Valley soda lake made famous for its huge population of pink flamingos that line the shores of Nakuru in their thousands, sometimes millions.
Have your best chance of seeing both black and white rhino during your game drive. Both species are protected by a sanctuary, so the park enjoys high concentrations of these rare animals. Lion, leopard, cheetah, giraffe and waterbuck are also abundant.

Day 5 - Nakuru to Nairobi expand_more
Once you’ve finished breakfast, take one last safari in this incredible park before heading back to Nairobi with a stop for lunch along the way.
