Itinerary

1. Day 1: Queen Elizabeth National Park

   • Today you will be picked up at your hotel/airport in Kampala by your driver/guide to embark on your expedition driving southwest to Queen Elizabeth, the most frequented national park in Uganda.
   • You will have a few stops en route to stretch your legs and continue your journey after lunch.
   • Upon arrival, you will check into your booked safari lodge for dinner and overnight.

   All meals include drinking water.

2. Day 2: Kyambura Gorge

   • After breakfast, you will set out to the Valley of the Apes, the stunning Kyambura gorge, which stretches one kilometre across and plunges 100 meters deep. The gorge drained by River Kyambura is an attractive habitat for primates and a rich diversity of birds. After the briefing, we traverse the gorge's depths, tracking habituated chimpanzees as they go about their day. Luckily, we will also spot the black and white Colobus monkeys, red-tailed monkeys, or even the giant forest hogs. Return to the lodge for lunch and, after, set out for an afternoon boat cruise on the Kazinga channel for two hours of great sightings. Continue to Kasenyi for an evening game drive and a treat to the most stunning views as the sunset cuts across the beautiful savannahs making the end of our day.

3. Day 3: Transfer to Kampala

   • This will be quite an early morning; you will be out by 6:30 am after a quick breakfast to do an early morning game drive, a chance that you may spot a few more animals that you may have missed in the previous day’s game drive. Return to the lodge, and refresh.

   End of tour.
