  • Check into our tented camp or lodge, where we will stay for the next two nights. Day 03

Ol Pejeta Conservancy to Lake Naivasha

Lake Naivasha is the highest of the Great Rift Valley lakes and the second-largest freshwater lake in Kenya. The lake has no known outlet, which is usually a requirement for a freshwater lake, and it is home to over 450 species of birds.
  • Spend the afternoon at leisure or enjoy several optional activities such as a nature walk, biking, a bird walk along the shore of the lake, and a visit to Crescent Island. There is also cultural dance, horse riding, rock climbing, and boat trips on the lake, as well as excursions to Hell's Gate National Park, one of the few remaining places where you can walk alongside wildlife.

For every guest who travels with our company in Kenya, we plant a tree in his or her name. Since 2015, we have planted roughly 5,000 trees and counting. Though small, these reforestation efforts can raise awareness of the need to increase tree cover to reduce carbon emissions and have the potential to make a tangible, sustained impact.
