Day 1: Nairobi to Met Station expand_more
Pick-up from the accommodation in Nairobi (or other location).
Drive to Naro Moru town.
Proceed to the park gate for registration.
Begin the hike through 8 km of a beautiful rainforest.
Arrive at Met station (3,050 m/10,200 ft).
Have dinner and overnight stay in the hut.

Day 2: Met Station to Mackinders Camp expand_more
Have an early breakfast.
Hike and get into a steep bog and walk through Teleki valley, named after the Hungarian explorer Samuel Teleki. (6-7 hours hike)
Arrive at Mackinders camp (4200 m/14000 ft) to have lunch and rest.
Have dinner and overnight stay in the hut.

Day 3: Point Lenana expand_more
Get up at 02:00 am to summit Point Lenana (4985 m/16355 ft) in time for sunrise.
Take a walk for 4 hours through long scree and summit at dawn.
See an incredible view of beautiful peaks, tarn lakes, glaciers and valleys.
- Descend to Met Station for dinner and overnight stay at the hut.

Day 4: Departure expand_more
Descend to the Park Gate and return to Nairobi.
Optional: Stay overnight at Naro Moru River lodge before returning to Nairobi.
