Description

Set off to a national park known for the great view of the Mount Kilimanjaro with the countless elephants, to the freshwater lake with a boat ride and later exciting wilderness of Mara, the sight of the lion prides, elephants herds, buffalo herds, zeal of zebras, rhinos and the small Kings of the plains.

    • Head from your hotel for Amboseli National Park with your Kenyan safari guide.

    • Arrive at the Sentrim Tented Camp and after some refreshments, leave for your first afternoon game drive.

    Return to the camp for dinner and rest.

  • Day 2: Amboseli National Park expand_more
    • Leave after breakfast for a full day game drive with the breathtaking Mount Kilimanjaro in the background. Massive herds of Elephants, giraffe, zebra and lions are found here.

    Return for dinner and overnight at Sentrim Tented Camp.

  • Day 3: Amboseli to Lake Naivasha expand_more

    • Leave Amboseli Reserve after early morning breakfast and head to Lake Naivasha.

    • Arrive at a hotel in time for lunch.

    • Finish lunch and refreshments, and head to Lake Naivasha, which is part of Kenya’s Rift Valley; the freshwater lake has over 400 bird species and a large population of hippo.

    • Take a boat ride past all the hippos and visit the stunning Crescent Island sanctuary.

    • Walk amongst giraffes, zebras and waterbucks with your tourist guides.

    Head back to Sopa lodge for dinner and a good night’s rest.

  • Day 4: Lake Naivasha to Masai Mara expand_more
    • After early morning breakfast, head to Africa’s premier Game Reserve Masai Mara.
    • Enroute to the Mara, stop at the Great rift valley viewpoint and take in the magnificent view over the plains.
    • Arrive in time for lunch.  
    • Rest and later, head out for the first game drive in Maasai Mara in search of the big cats and plenty of wildebeest.

    Return in the evening for dinner and overnight at the Enkorok Mara Camp or similar.

  • Day 5: Masai Mara expand_more

    • Have your breakfast and depart with packed lunches for a full day exploring the park.

    • Go in search of the Big 5 and other wild game.

      • Book an optional hot air balloon safari can be arranged at an extra cost of US$ 450 per person.

    • Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight at the Enkorok Mara Camp.

  • Day 6: Masai Mara expand_more

    • Eat breakfast at leisure and relax by the swimming pool.

    • Savour lunch and later proceed for an afternoon game drive till dusk.

  • Day 7: Masai Mara to Nairobi expand_more

    • Depart for Nairobi after breakfast, arriving in the afternoon.

    • Drop off at the airport to catch your flight back home.

You will see lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffe, wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, buffalo, leopard, many kinds of antelopes and elephant. The spectacular annual event takes place in the Mara, the migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (Tanzania) in search of water and pasture.
