The itinerary

Day 01

Nairobi to Amboseli and Afternoon Game Drive

Head out from Nairobi to Amboseli National Park, which is famous for its scenery with a backdrop of snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro. It dominates the landscape and open plains.
While on the road, enjoy a short game drive.
Spot elephants, lions, and other mammals at play.
Check in, have lunch, and take a short rest.
Head out for an afternoon game drive in the park against the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro.

Dinner and overnight at Kibo Safari Camp.

Day 02

Full-Day Game Drives in Amboseli National Park

Head out for an early morning game drive and return for breakfast.
Spend the day on game drives, with a packed lunch during the break.

Day 03

Lake Nakuru National Park and Birdlife Safari

Go for a morning game drive.
After breakfast, depart for Nakuru via Nairobi. Have lunch at a city restaurant, and after lunch, proceed to Nakuru. The lake has been called "the new home of the flamingo," with a nomad population of up to two million birds.
Arrive in Nakuru and proceed for an afternoon game drive at Lake Nakuru National Park in search of warthogs, waterbuck, buffaloes, reedbucks, and the occasional leopard. White and black rhinos were introduced to the park some years ago, and you will find white rhino at the southern end. The park has also retained its reputation as an ornithologists' delight, with more than 400 species of bird found here.

Dinner and overnight at Lake Nakuru Flamingo Lodge.

Day 04

Journey to Masai Mara via Narok

After breakfast, leave Lake Nakuru for Masai Mara, a 5-hour drive.
Pass through Narok, a town known for its Masai settlements.
Arrive in time for lunch as you check in at Elengata Mara Camp or similar and have lunch.
Head for an evening game drive through the park in search of the lion, cheetah, elephant, buffalo, and other members of the Big Five, alongside other animals.

All meals and overnight at Elenkang Camp.

Day 05

Explore the Plains of the Masai Mara

Explore the Masai Mara National Reserve, which joins the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania.
Arrive in time for lunch. The plains of Masai Mara teem with wild animals, and one is almost guaranteed to see all the Big Five.
Spend the rest of the day on game drives.

Dinner and overnight at Elenkang Camp.
