Itinerary

1. Day 1: Nairobi to Lake Nakuru

   • At 08:00 am, you will be picked from your Nairobi city hotel and then will be driven north to Lake Nakuru National Park.

   • Enter the park through Lanet Gate and proceed with game viewing en route to Lake Nakuru lodge for lunch.

   • Set out for an afternoon game drive as you proceed to Ramsar bird site, specifically founded to protect the black and white rhino. It is also home to more than 450 species of birds, including the lesser and greater flamingos, pelicans, African fish eagles and many others.

   Return for dinner and overnight stay in the lodge.

2. Day 2: Lake Nakuru to Lake Naivasha

   • At 06:00 am, enjoy an early morning game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park followed by breakfast.

   • Post breakfast, drive to Simba Lodge for lunch. Optional afternoon boat ride on Lake Naivasha at an extra cost. Lake Naivasha is a freshwater lake with a picturesque view of Mount Longonot. Here, you might spot hippos and various species of birds, including pelicans, African fish eagles, African darter, cormorants and the lesser flamingos, which are migratory.

   • Alternatively, visit Crescent Island via boat ride for a nature walk where you can spot wildebeest, zebra and giraffes from a close range.

   Dinner and overnight stay in Simba lodge.

3. Day 3: Lake Naivasha to Hell's Gate to Nairobi

   • Enjoy a delicious breakfast and then proceed to Hell's Gate National Park.

   • Drive for a short distance to the entrance of Hell’s Gate National Park. Soon after you enter the park, the impressive landscape unfolds before you and you are transported to a dramatic, semi-arid world, with sheer rugged cliffs, open plains and deep concealed gorges. There are many activities you can do within Hell’s Gate including, walking, cycling, rock climbing, bird watching and trekking.

   • Have a picnic lunch in the park.

   • Later in the afternoon, we begin our return journey by road, driving through the Great Rift Valley to Nairobi.
