3-Day Lake Nakuru and Naivasha Safari with Hell's Gate

• At 08:00 am, you will be picked up from your Nairobi city hotel and driven north to Lake Nakuru National Park.

• Enter the park through Lanet Gate and proceed with game viewing en route to Lake Nakuru Lodge for lunch.

• Set out for an afternoon game drive as you proceed to this Ramsar bird site, specifically founded to protect the black and white rhino. It is also home to more than 450 species of birds, including the lesser and greater flamingos, pelicans, African fish eagles, and many others.

Return for dinner and an overnight stay at the lodge.

• At 06:00 am, enjoy an early morning game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park followed by breakfast.

• After breakfast, drive to Simba Lodge for lunch. An optional afternoon boat ride on Lake Naivasha is available at an extra cost. Lake Naivasha is a freshwater lake with a picturesque view of Mount Longonot. Here, you might spot hippos and various species of birds, including pelicans, African fish eagles, African darters, cormorants, and the lesser flamingos, which are migratory.

• Alternatively, visit Crescent Island by boat for a nature walk, where you can spot wildebeest, zebra, and giraffes from close range.

Dinner and overnight stay at Simba Lodge.

• Enjoy a delicious breakfast and then proceed to Hell's Gate National Park.

• Drive a short distance to the entrance of Hell's Gate National Park. Soon after you enter the park, the impressive landscape unfolds before you, transporting you to a dramatic, semi-arid world with sheer rugged cliffs, open plains, and deep concealed gorges. There are many activities you can do within Hell's Gate, including walking, cycling, rock climbing, bird watching, and trekking.

• Have a picnic lunch in the park.

• Later in the afternoon, begin your return journey by road, driving through the Great Rift Valley to Nairobi.
