I am a 23 year old guide born in Lalibela and grown up in one of the ancient Ethiopian towns called Roha or Lalibela where you find rock hewn churches of King Lalibela that were excavated from one volcanic rock - 11 churches in the period of the 12 century!

After completion of my regular elementary and secondary schooling in Lalibla, I have gone to Addis Ababa decided to study tourism to be a tour guide.And, I joined the Catering and Tourism Training Institute of Addis Ababa to study Tour Operation Management and was graduated in diploma with ‘Distinctions’ Ranking in August 2010.

Since then, I have worked as a tour operator and tour guide to all parts of the country for, I have been working as a freelance English speaking Guide for various tour companies in Addis

the education and professional experience I have helped me to know what visitors like to see and I know where to take them and what to show them.Guiding is not only my means of making money but it is my way of life.
