    • Embark on a boat trip to Lake Tana to enjoy stunning views and visit monasteries including the Ura Kidane Mehret and Azwa Maryam. Lake Tana is the largest lake in Ethiopia. It is approximately 84 km long and 66 km wide.

    • Meet the Awra Amba Community where the life of a man and woman is shown in terms of socio, economic and cultural aspects. 

    • In the afternoon, we took a city tour and visit the Bahir Dar market with the Ethiopian tour guide. The Bahir Dar market is a lively market.

  • Day 2: Gondar - Awra Amba Community expand_more
    • Visit the Egalitarian Community of Awra Amba. You will learn about the unique way of life that sets men and women equally in all community, social, and labour matters.

    •  Explore Gondar that day and visited the Kusquam Castle with the tour guide. It is one of the oldest castles located in Ethiopia.

  • Day 3: City Tour in Gondar expand_more
    • Explore Gondar again and stopped by at the Debre Berhan Selassie Church, Fasiladas's Castles, Bath, and Gardens.

    • Visit the Ploughshare Women Crafts Training Centre. It is a Falasha village where underprivileged single mothers can learn pottery, weaving, and other technical skills that enable them to make a living. 

    • After stopping at the Ploughshare Women Training Center we will visit the Injera Making Demonstration. We will have a traditional Ethiopian dinner.

    • At last, a trip to the Debre Berhan Selassie Church.
