Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival and Visit to Dorze Village
- Pick you up at your hotel or airport.
Fly to Arbaminch.
Drive to Dorze village to visit the Dorze people and explore their unique villages marked by false banana plantations.
Overnight stay at a lodge or hotel.

Day 2: Lake Chamo Boat Cruise and Visit to Konso Village
- Have an early breakfast.
Proceed to Lake Chamo for a boat cruise to see hippos and African crocodiles.
Return to the vehicle and drive to Konso village for lunch.
Make a quick visit to Konso village.
Continue to Turmi with a stop at Keyafer market where the Bena, Tsemay, and Ari people trade their goods (market day Thursday).
Overnight stay at a lodge.

Day 3: Explore Kara Village and Visit Dassenech People
- Spend a full day in Turmi.
Take a day trip to Kara village to visit the Karo people near the shore of the Omo River.
Observe the Karo people's body painting and scarification traditions.
Learn about their Bull jumping rituals, marking the transition from boyhood to manhood.
Have lunch in Turmi.
Drive to Omorate village to visit the Dassenech people living on the opposite side of the Omo River.
Optional: Attend a Bull jumping ceremony if available.
Visit the Hamer people and their village in the late afternoon.
Overnight stay at a lodge.

Day 4: Drive to Jinka and Visit Ari Village
- Have an early breakfast.
Drive to Jinka with stops at available local markets depending on the day.
Visit the Ari people and their village located on the outskirts of Jinka town in the late afternoon.
Overnight stay at a basic hotel.

Day 5: Visit Mursi Tribe and Return to Addis Ababa
- Take an early breakfast and pack your luggage.
Drive to Mago National Park to visit the Mursi tribe, known for women who wear lip plates as a form of beautification.
Return to Jinka for lunch.
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Addis Ababa.
Upon arrival, take a short city tour of the capital and engage in other activities.
Enjoy a farewell dinner at a cultural restaurant featuring local dishes and folkloric dances.
Drop off at your hotel or Bole International Airport for departure.
