About me
Hola!
I'm a Barcelonian official tour guide and a Spanish teacher. Therefore, not only I offer customised tours, but also Spanish tours-lessons.
All my tours are talior made depending on your time and interests, but because Barcelona is very eclectical, I make sure you won't miss some off the beaten-track sites, so you gain a feeling of local life.I also take into account what's going on in the city at the time in order to make the most out of your visit.
My tour-lessons are thought for those who speak some Spanish. With them you will be able to practise your Spanish while discovering the secrets of the city.
As a teacher, I've been using the street as a classroom for many years and it was by doing so that I discovered how much I love to introduce and show my city. Then, I became an official tour guide in 2005.I love my job. It's extremely rewarding and it keeps me always busy exploring, reading and learning.
If you stay for at least a week, I reccomend you a day out of the city to discover a more traditional and local Catalonia: Girona and Costa Brava or Dali's Museum; or a bit closer: Montserrat mountain or Colonia Güell; a winery in Penedés area, Sitges or our Catalan little Rome: Tarragona.
It will be a honor to accompany you while discovering all these treasures.
Hasta pronto!
Maica
