- Your tour guide will pick you up from your Hotel in Aswan.
- Enjoy the 1-hour drive from Aswan to Kom Ombo by air-conditioned vehicle to visit the unusual double Temple built for Haroeris, the Falcon God and Sobek, the Crocodile God. The temple of Kom Ombo was built during the Greco-Roman period in Egypt.
- Enjoy the fantastic scenes of the ancient Egyptian calendar, the medical instruments, the Crocodile Museum and more.
- Continue to visit the Temple of Horus at Edfu. It is the most complete and the best preserved of all Egyptian temples. Edfu Temple was constructed between 237 and 57 BC during the Ptolemaic era and extended between 332 – 30 BC.
- After finishing, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Aswan or dropped off at your hotel in Luxor at no extra cost.

Know before you go
- Your guide will pick you up from your hotel in Luxor and transfer you by a/c private vehicle to Edfu, which is around a 50-minute drive south of Luxor. Upon arrival in Edfu, visit the majestic Temple of Edfu dedicated to Horus. You will have a box lunch included.
- After lunch, continue your day tour to Kom Ombo, which is around a 45-minute drive from Eduf. Arrive at Kom Ombo and then transfer to see the Temple of Kom Ombo standing on high grounds overlooking the Nile. It differs from other temples because of its double entrance; each is dedicated to divinity: “Haroeris” with his falcon head and ” Sobek ” with his crocodile head.
- The Temple of Kom Ombo was built in honour of two deities: the crocodile-headed Sobek, god of fertility and creator of the world, and Haroeris or the ancient falcon-headed Horus. Also, Kom Ombo’s importance lies in its huge sugar cane.
