Full day Alexandria tour from Cairo
- 7:00 AM - Meet our tour representative at the hotel lobby in Cairo
- 9:30 AM - Start your tour by visiting the catacombs, which date back to the 2nd century and are a mixture of Egyptian, Greek, and Roman art.
- 10:40 AM - We will proceed to visit Pompey's Pillar, an approximately 27m red Aswan granite column with a circumference of 9m that was constructed in honour of Emperor Diocletian.
- 11:30 AM - Visit the Great Library of Alexandria, which was probably established by Ptolemy I (305-285 BC), and was the most important learning centre in ancient times.
- 12:20 PM - Have lunch at a local restaurant with your own money.
- 01:40 PM - We proceed to Qaitbay Fort, where the ancient lighthouse is one of the seven wonders of the world.
- 03:30 PM - After Qitbay Fort, return to the hotel in Cairo.
