1. Day 1: Welcome to Egypt

   • Upon your arrival at Cairo International Airport, a representative from Magic Carpet will greet you and escort you to your hotel for an overnight stay.
   • We will provide a quick overview of your itinerary and offer insights into Egyptian customs and traditions.

2. Day 2: Cairo - Giza pyramids & Egyptian Museum

   • Kick off an unforgettable journey through ancient Egypt, starting with a captivating tour of the Pyramids of Giza, the last remaining ancient wonder of the world. Marvel at the majestic pyramids of Cheops, Mykerinus, and Chephren, and delve into the history of these magnificent structures, shrouded in mystery.
   • From the Giza Plateau, soak in the breathtaking panorama of the pyramids rising majestically from the golden sands. Capture this unforgettable moment with photos to cherish forever.    • As you drift off to sleep, the train glides seamlessly towards your next destination. Your journey includes delicious meals: breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
   • Later, you'll be heading to Luxor.

3. Day 3: Luxor - East bank

   • Upon arriving in Luxor, you'll be whisked away to your next home: a luxurious Nile cruise ship. Each cabin is comfortably appointed with a private bathroom, television, and air conditioning, ensuring a restful stay. Indulge in delicious meals served in the ship's restaurant, and take a refreshing dip in the swimming pool on deck.

4. Day 4: Luxor - West bank

5. Day 5: Edfu - Kom Ombo

   • Following a delicious breakfast on your cruise ship, embark on an excursion to Edfu, where you'll encounter the remarkably well-preserved Ptolemaic Temple dedicated to Horus, the vengeful son of Osiris.
   • Afterwards, set sail for Kom Ombo, home to the unique "double-temple" of Sobek. This temple, renowned for its symmetrical design, is dedicated to two deities: Sobek, the crocodile god, and Horus, the falcon-headed god. While the area once harbored numerous crocodiles, today the only ones you'll find are the mummified specimens showcased in the nearby Crocodile Museum.
   • Join your ship for a delightful lunch as you continue your journey towards Aswan.
   • This exciting itinerary includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner, along with visits to the impressive Horus Temple and the intriguing Sobek Temple.

6. Day 6: Aswan - Abu Simbel

   • Your journey to Abu Simbel begins at 4:00 AM with a scenic three-hour drive. The trip, while long, is well worth it to witness the grandeur of these ancient temples. Ramses II, seeking to assert his dominance over the Nubians, commissioned the construction of these two colossal temples for himself and his beloved Queen Nefertari.
   • Guided by an Egyptologist, you'll explore these architectural marvels, delving into the history of this site and the great Pharaoh who built them. There, you'll get the chance to capture some of the top memorable photographs. While many travel agencies offer this excursion as an expensive optional tour, at Magic Carpet Company, we believe that this magnificent site is an essential part of your Egyptian experience.

7. Day 7: Aswan - City highlights

   • Begin your day at the Philae Temple, a remarkable site dedicated to the goddess Isis. It's truly astonishing that this entire temple was relocated from Philae Island to Agilika Island after the construction of the High Dam.

   • Travel by motorboat to the massive Aswan High Dam. While it has brought the benefits of consistent agriculture to Egypt, its construction has unfortunately impacted numerous homes and historic sites, including the iconic Abu Simbel temples.

   • Next, visit the Symposium Museum, an open-air museum showcasing contemporary sculptures. Although often overlooked by tourists, this museum offers a unique glimpse into modern Egyptian art and culture.
   • In the evening, board the sleeper train back to Cairo, your mind filled with countless stories and captivating photographs from your journey.

8. Day 8: Return to Cairo

   • Your King Tut family adventure concludes here. Upon returning to Cairo, you can board your international flight home or extend your Egyptian journey with our curated selection of tours and activities.
