Itinerary

1. Day 1: Memphis, Saqqara & Giza Highlights Tour

   • Pick up from the hotel at 7:00 am.

   • Travel to one of the most ancient parts of the city, the Saqqara complex.

   • Explore the Step Pyramid of Djoser, considered the first pyramid ever built, marking a major evolution in funerary construction, moving from a simple mastaba to this pyramidal shape.

   • Visit the Mastaba tombs of the nobles to see how the daily life activities of the ancient Egyptians presented on the walls of these tombs. 
   • Discover the documentation of the fauna and flora of the old kingdom that are depicted in the tombs of the nobles.

   • Have lunch at a local restaurant.

   • Continue to visit the Giza Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Menkaure.

   • Move to the Sphinx, the legendary guardian, situated near the pyramid of King Chephren.

   • Proceed to Memphis, the ancient capital of old Egypt, founded by King Menes and see the Statue of Ramses II and alabaster sphinx.

   Return to the hotel. 

2. Day 2: Cairo Tour

   • Visit the Egyptian Museum, famous for its antiquities from Egypt's Pharaonic period, including King Tutankhamen's treasures.

   • Proceed to the Citadel of Saladin and Mohammed Ali Alabaster Mosque, a mosque modelled after the Yeni Mosque in Istanbul.

   • Explore the Christian heritage in Coptic Cairo, including the most famous and oldest Coptic Orthodox Church in Egypt.

   • Continue to Mohammed Ali Mosque.

   • Have lunch at a local restaurant.

   • Explore the Valley Temple and the Papyrus Museum.

   End of the tour.
