Giza & Cairo Sightseeing
Get picked up from your location by your local guide at 9.00 am.
Stop at the Giza pyramid complex, which comprises three well-known Pyramids: the Pyramids of Giza (well known as the Pyramid of the King Cheops); the pyramid of the King Chephren; the pyramid of the King Mykerinus).
Climb to the Giza Plateau and witness a panoramic view of all the three pyramids together.
At the foot of the Plateau, you will see the Great Giza Sphinx, a mythological creature with the head of a pharaoh and lion's body that dates from the time of Chephren, discovered in 1912.
Head on to explore Old Cairo, to the historical Hanging Church, Abu Sirga Church and Ben Ezra Synagogue.
Continue your journey to the Citadel of Salah El-Din, which Salah El-Din constructed on the Moqattam hills in 1183 AD to defend Cairo from the armies of Crusaders. Located inside the citadel is the Mohamed Ali alabaster mosque, a popular mosque in the city which is still used as a place of worship by the Muslims of Cairo.
End your trip with a visit to Khan el Khalili bazaar, the most famous and oldest bazaars in the Middle East and drive back to your hotel.
