Embark on a captivating three-day expedition from Cairo to the enchanting Siwa Oasis. Journey to the desert's vast expanse with a stop at the Al Alamin 2 World War museum. Then, explore Shali Old Town's salt, mud, and plaster ruins, peruse the Siwa Museum's cultural artifacts, and visit historic sites like Amoun and Oracle Temple, where Alexander the Great sought validation. Luxuriate in Cleopatra Spring's waters and witness a mesmerising sunset at Bir Wahed.
Itinerary

Day 1: Cairo – Siwa.
- Early morning departure to Siwa Oasis in our private limousine.
- Siwa Oasis is the largest (23,000 inhabitants) and most remote Egyptian Oasis, some 17 meters below sea level.
- Crossing the Western Desert with a stop in AL Alamin 2 World War museum.
- Moving to Marsa Matrouh on the Mediterranean Sea for a lunch break in one of the local restaurants.
- After lunch, continue the journey to Siwa Oasis.
- Arrive in Siwa Oasis in the afternoon and overnight in a hotel.

Day 2: Siwa
- After Breakfast, start our tour with Shali Old Town.
- Some buildings here are still in use, but they fall into ruin yearly due to their construction of salt, mud, and plaster.
- Following visiting the Siwa Museum located in a traditional Siwan house. The museum boasts traditional Siwan objects such as silver, jewellery, musical instruments, wedding costumes, baskets, and ceramics.
- Then move to Amoun Temple (Om Obayda), which dates back to the 30th dynasty, and the Oracle Temple, where Alexander the Great consulted the oracle to validate his status as the son of Zeus and thus legitimate ruler of the country.
- Then move to Cleopatra Spring and enjoy lunch in a local cafeteria beside the water spring.
- Spend today’s afternoon at Bir Wahed, 12 km southwest of Siwa. A hot spring and cold spring at the edge of the Great Sand Sea with water right in the middle of the dunes and take a fantastic sunset from atop the dunes.
- Then, move to the Bedouin camp for the attractive Bedouin dinner and back to the hotel.

Day 3: Siwa – Cairo
- After breakfast, Depart for Cairo, crossing the Western Desert.
- Return to the hotel in Cairo and end the program.
