Itinerary

1. Day 1: Cairo

   • Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, the representative will meet and escort you to your hotel.

   Overnight at a luxury hotel.

2. Day 2: Giza Pyramids and Sakkara

   • Visit the monumental Giza Pyramid Complex, one among the first Seven Wonders of the planet. The enormity and sweetness of the pyramids can wow you.

   • Take photos, explore the complicated pyramids, and learn about their history.

   • Head to the Step Pyramids of Saqqarah, another historic and distinctive set of pyramids that solely Egypt offers. Your live lesson continues as you learn about the building of the step pyramids and their historical significance.

3. Day 3: Luxor

   • Depart for the airport and fly to Luxor (about an hour flight) bright and early.

   • Visit the Valley of the Kings. This valley is home to the tombs of 63 pharaohs and nobles. While not all tombs are open to the public, visiting the valley is a fantastic addition to your tour.

   • Explore Hatshepsut Temple and Colossi of Memnon, built-inn resemblance to Pharaoh Amenhotep III. While time has taken its toll on the Colossi of Memnon, they remain an iconic tourist location and give a peek into the ancient world.

   • Make a night visit to the Luxor Temple to be able to appreciate its full effect.

4. Day 4: Karnak Temple - Cairo

   • Meet your Egyptologist in the morning and head over to the Karnak Temple, the second most visited historical place in Egypt (after the pyramids).

   • Go to the airport and hop a flight back to Cairo, where the trip will recommence.

   • After landing, head to the Egyptian Museum, which has over 120,000 ancient artifacts, a must-see museum and one of the popular stops on the trip.

5. Day 5: Alexandria

   • Visit the following places with your Egyptian tour guide:
     • Pompey’s Pillar: beautiful 25-meter high pillar built to honour Emperor Diocletian in 297 CE, is a staple stop on a tour of Ancient Egypt.
     • Catacombs: a place where you can genuinely see Greco-roman influence.
     • New Library of Alexandria: this modern library located near the Mediterranean sea is a fusion between appreciating contemporary art and culture and commemorating the original library of Alexandria, which was destroyed.
     • Roman Theater: an ancient theatre that is sure to wow you.

6. Day 6: Departure

   • Depart for the airport in an air-conditioned van, giving you the highest level of comfort as you say goodbye to your amazing week in Cairo.
